Does Evicto collect the rental?

 

•No, if you use the attorneys on our panel to assist with the collection, they will offer a 15% discount on their fees.

Why should the owner need Evicto if proper vetting was done?

 

Eviction orders are not being recorded at this stage. A person may have a good credit check and good references, but still be a possible eviction risk. In addition, we cannot predict the future and the tenant’s circumstances may change.

Are Evicto’s fees towards the eviction capped?

 

 No, we pay for the whole eviction process whether it is opposed or unopposed, including all the sheriff’s fees during the process - and then recover the costs from the delinquent tenant.

Is there a waiting period from date of registering the lease?

 

No, there is no waiting period.

Are there any additional costs to obtain the eviction?

 

•No, there are no additional costs.

My agent is managing the property. Why is Evicto necessary?

 

An agent is not authorised to institute an eviction on behalf of an owner as the Prevention of Illegal Evictions Act only authorises an Owner and “the Person in charge” - who would not be the standard Managing Agent.
